The Company
LSA – Laser Analytical Systems & Automation GmbH was founded in Aachen in 2004 as a spin-off of the Fraunhofer-Institut für Lasertechnik (ILT). The company head office is located in the Operator Centre of the ILT and it benefits from the local, closely meshed network of recognised experts in measurement and testing technology. LSA GmbH develops and markets systems for rapid and contactless chemical material analysis. By means of continual access to the local network, LSA GmbH has a technological overview of over fifteen years of know-how as well as access to special hardware components and patents developed for rapid optical on-line analysis. LSA GmbH is a a worldwide leader leader in successfully using the advantages of laser emission spectrometry, particularly for application in highly automated production facilities. The fulfilment of the customary required objectives with regard to availability and reliability go without saying.
The Products
The product spectrum of LSA GmbH comprises complete systems, devices and components for rapid material analysis, software solutions for interpretation of spectrometric data, as well as the provision of services and feasibility studies. The main focus consists in the utilisation of laser emission spectrometry in highly automated facilities, in order to implement 100% testing.
The measuring systems are employed in various industrial sectors, for example in the metal industry, in environmental technologies industry and in the raw materials industries, primarily for process control and quality control.
